YFC ILC Cebu 2009

Guilt possesses me as I checked out Agie Lee's multi account. Tons of pics from the YFC ILC CEBU. :(( :
Youth for Christ is an organization wherein teenagers serve GOD through spreading God's love in high schools. I belong to my beloved sector, North B, headed by the recently-appointed-sectorhead, Chris Alain Datu. <3
I got no idea what does the ILC acronym means, all I know is that YFC members from all-over the Philipines gather to celebrate the annual activity there. Last time, the event was held here in Manila, but I'm not active in YFC activities, so I let it pass by. There are more opportunities last year, but I just let time cover it up. Foolish me. But that was before. Now? I crave to attend ALL YFC activities. I long to serve GOD with all my heart. But not with this year's ILC. :( : I know the fees and payment stuffs are easy to regain, but the activity itself, including the bonding of the YFC members in each sector, I say, it's priceless! More of what you could imagine! :(( :
I just regret I didn't exert any effort in attending there. Oh well..... College university applications are conflicting my schedule. And it's better to focus more of your future than focus on bonding together with AutoCAD. :)
Hopefully, next year would be something different, more exciting and more fun in my YFC year!

Summer (1)

In this little house, I, my dad, lolo tanny and tita melanie are zooming the most microscopic creature we could see. lol.

3 days has passd since my mom and 2 sisters went to aklan. Oh yes they went there without us. And the most exciting there is, Abby took the flight by herself ONLY. No mama, no papa, no ate, no achays, no anyone! Only her and her luggage. Well, I'm indeed blissful she reached her destination - Aklan, not Cebu nor Saudi.

So why exactly did they go there in a rush? Because of the feast in Cawayan. Oh I hate to remember that gathering which truly reunites all of our relatives, family roots, etc. You'd see their longing smiles and shakehands. Their gentle chuckle at their chat about showbiz matters. Oh oldies. And most especially, the unbeatable oh-so-yummy traditional Aklan viand, Lechong Kawali served with the delicious home-made gravy only at Aklan.

I miss the fresh air, the coconut trees, the beach sand, gentle breeze, the room I used to paint with color pink.ugh.girly thingy, my cousins, my uncles and aunts, NVC and RSHS, Smoke hauz, Briones, Boracay. I miss the whole stuff. I miss Aklan. If it's not only for my college application, I'm already peeking at the alluring attires of the candidates for the Mr.& Ms. Cawayan 2009. Good thing I have my dad here, supporting me all through out the season. Maybe I could have sank down without him.

Tomorrow, I'm into the interview part of SMPF (Sertipiko ng Malikhaing Pagsulat sa Filipino) in the University of the Philippines. The next day, into University of Sto. Tomas to confirm my slot in Journalism. On May 29, an entrance examination in Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Hopefully, I could pass the SMPF so college life wouldn't be that tiring and exhausting as what I'm imagining it when I enroll in UST.

Ha-ha. I'm nervous at the moment. Heartbeat is rushing and worry thoughts are popping. I'm really nervous about the interview stuff, you know, I'm not a fluent Tagalog speaker nor writer, and I felt uncomfortable talking to the faculty staff there. I have neither any background nor experience regarding such writing stuffs. I just hope not to stammer and be able to answer most of the questions there. :-/

I think I'd end it here, I'm sorry if this entry is simple plain old unlike the others. Wala lang. Something new. Goodnight.
