So i was googling kulani...

kasi last night, minamassage ni Meme palad ko, and every time she rubs and presses this certain part, napapa-ouch ako! then i told her na matagal nang ganun yun, and it doesn't feel quite normal na nga e. tas sinabi niya baka kulani raw. tas chineck ko ulit yung part.

And so i considered Krissie's advice. She also said na if that certain point aches, probably sumasakit or may sakit din ang corresponding internal organ or body part nun.

Siyempre, uso mag-panic.

Kaya I googled kulani.. malay ko ba kung ano yun. Alam ko lang yung kuliti or sty e. *googles*googles*

and i got here a wonderful search result:

*tadaaa! Kulani Restaurant!

Ano kayang mga pagkain dito? Meron kayang pork-breaded kulani na sineserve dito? Or roasted kulani? E kulani fettuccine? Siguro puro bukol at nana ang soups at desserts nila dito.

Nom nom nom!

*googles*again, this time on images.

O alrighty! So ang tawag na pala sa Black Americans ngayon ay kulani? at may kulani-flavored juice pa a! at may sundalo pa na kulani! (hi, anak!)

Very helpful results there, Google.

Iba na lang ginoogle ko. *googles*googles* Reflexology na lang. Since pangarap ko namang maging physical therapist. Okay, random.

Search result:

E since may sinusitis ako, affected ako.

HAHA tas for about 5minutes, ginagaya ko na yung video. I even put on lotion para less friction. Career e. Ba't ba. So I checked the foot chart dun sa talamapakan part ko. I'm not sure kung nakaturo yun sa liver, adrenal glands, and/or sa stomach.

Then I saw this thing about reflexology and foot pain.
For example: foot pain in the sole of the foot may be associated with improper diet. A diet high in refined sugar may cause an imbalance in the endocrine system including the adrenal glands. Foot Reflexology is effective in addressing this type of foot pain.
I thought that's normal.

Upon seeing this, over na-coolan na naman ako! At sobrang detailed pa ha. Amazing!

And it turns out na Adrenal Gland yung part na affected.

E clueless ako sa adrenal gland. I don't even know what is a gland, except sa nagpo-produce ito ng hormones.

*googles* adrenal gland.

Found this.
Your adrenal, or suprarenal, glands are located on the top of each kidney. These glands produce hormones that you can't live without, including sex hormones and cortisol, which helps you respond to stress and has many other functions.

Then this site entitled "What is the Function of Adrenal Gland."

Nung nabasa ko 'tong line, na-bother ako. Actually nakaka-bother dahil sa word na "stressful."
The medulla, or inner part of the adrenal glands, produces the hormones norepinephrine and epinephrine, which regulate the "fight or flight" response in the body, the body's reaction to stressful events.
Then, this alarmed me.
Symptoms of poor adrenal function include fatigue, muscle aches and low blood sugar.
Yes, I have been experiencing these symptoms, and they often interfere with my daily routine.

And so, this caused me to deepen my research. (quite feeling genius while googling science terminologies! i'm even considering to take up Medicine! feeling ko part na ako ng pamilya ng science world like Jimmy Neutron and stuff. lulz haha)

Then I arrived at this site about Adrenal Gland Disorders Symptoms.

As I read on the symptoms, it appears that I possibly have the disorder called Adrenal Fatigue.

Stress is the most common cause of adrenal fatigue. [...]
Adrenal fatigue often develops after periods of intense physical or emotional stress. Some of the general signs and symptoms of adrenal fatigue are:
  • Non-refreshing sleep
  • Excessive fatigue and exhaustion
  • Craving for salty and sweet foods
  • Overwhelmed by or unable to cope with stressors
  • Low stamina, slow to recover from exercise
  • Low immune function
  • Feeling most energetic in the evening
  • Difficulty in concentration, brain fog
  • Poor digestion
  • Premenstrual syndrome or difficulties that are developed during menopause
  • Extreme sensitivity to cold
  • Consistent low blood pressure
  • Tendency to gain weight and unable to lose it
  • Tendency to tremble when under pressure
  • High frequency of getting flu and other respiratory diseases
  • Reduced sex drive
  • Feeling better suddenly for a brief period after a meal
  • Pain in the upper back or neck with no apparent reasons
  • Feeling better when stress is relieved, such as on a vacation
  • Food and inhalant allergies
  • Palpitation
  • Lack of energy
  • Low body temperature
  • Hypoglycemia
  • Decreased ability to handle stress
  • Dry and thin skin
  • Unexplained hair loss
  • Nervousness
  • Dyspepsia
I bold those symptoms na seldom kong nararamdaman, or minsan madalas pa nga. And after realizing na almost 60% ay naka-bold, baka nga I have Adrenal Gland Fatigue. Because look at that symptoms! It really seems like a very likely possibility.

I am nervous. Yes, I really am.

And so I read on about the treatment.

The treatment for adrenal fatigue includes appropriate diet and lifestyle changes. Your diet should contain sufficient amount of proteins and complex carbohydrates. Avoid junk foods, coffee or soda. Also avoid processed foods, tobacco and alcohol. You need to do some exercises such as yoga, deep breathing, walking or meditation.

Nutritional supplements are important for nourishing and strengthening the adrenal glands. It will help restore healthy functioning of adrenal glands. Use of adrenal cortisol extracts, vitamin B complex, cortisol replacement, cordyceps, DHEA, L-Theanine, Licorice, pantothenic acid, pregnenolone, etc are useful in treating the adrenal fatigue.

Yes, I know I'm not a fan of meat and chicken, but I love eggs! I'd rather choose processed foods, especially the salty ones like Pringles, potato chips, and the like. Nakita ko dun yung karamihan sa sina-suggest na vitamins and minerals for me.

Then I ate tons of protein-rich food, uminom ng vitamins at maraming glass of water.

Hope this adrenal fatigue won't make me shed a tear. Huuu haha

On the other hand, nae-lss ako dito. ang cute cute ng lyrics!
